Dream Funnel™ Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Dream Funnel™, a donation platform operated by Redheaded Stepchild Tech (“we,” “our,” “us”) available at dreamfunnel.net (“the Site” or “the Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- "Donor" means any person or entity that gives money through Dream Funnel™.
- "Recipient" or "Organization" means any individual, school, community group, or other party that has created a Dream Funnel™ page and can receive donations.
- "Content" means any text, photo, story, message, or other material submitted to the Service.
- "Stripe" means Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates, our payment processor.
2. Eligibility
To use Dream Funnel™, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (donors under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian).
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
- Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws.
- If receiving donations, complete Stripe Connect onboarding and agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement.
3. Account Registration
Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dreamfunnel.net if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.
4. Donations
4.1 Voluntary Gifts
All donations made through Dream Funnel™ are voluntary gifts from Donors to Recipients. Dream Funnel™ is a technology platform that facilitates these transactions; we do not act as a fiduciary, agent, or trustee for Donors or Recipients.
4.2 No Tax Deductibility Guarantee
Unless a Recipient is a verified U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit that expressly says so on their page, donations made through Dream Funnel™ are not tax‑deductible. Donors are responsible for determining the tax treatment of their own gifts.
4.3 Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Stripe. By donating, you also agree to Stripe’s Consumer Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
4.4 Refunds
Because donations are voluntary gifts, they are generally non‑refundable. If you believe a donation was made in error or as the result of fraud, contact us within 30 days at support@dreamfunnel.net and we will review the request in good faith. Stripe processing fees are typically non‑recoverable.
4.5 Recurring Donations
Donors who set up a monthly or yearly recurring gift authorize Dream Funnel™ and Stripe to charge their payment method on the selected interval until cancellation. Donors may cancel at any time from their dashboard or by using the magic‑link in their welcome email; cancellation stops future charges but does not refund past ones.
5. Platform Fees
Dream Funnel™ charges a flat $0.10 (ten cents) platform fee per successful donation. Stripe’s standard processing fee (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 for U.S. cards) is deducted from the amount transferred to the Recipient. The full fee breakdown is displayed to the Donor before every payment.
We reserve the right to change platform fees with reasonable notice posted on the Service.
6. Recipient Responsibilities
By creating a Recipient page, you represent and warrant that:
- All information you provide (name, story, photos, in‑kind needs, location) is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
- You have the legal right to solicit donations for the purpose you describe.
- You will use funds received in a manner consistent with the purpose described on your page.
- You will not use Dream Funnel™ to solicit for illegal activity, weapons, controlled substances, or any purpose prohibited by Stripe's Restricted Businesses list.
- You will comply with all applicable tax reporting obligations. Dream Funnel™ and Stripe may issue tax forms (e.g. 1099‑K) where legally required.
Content moderation & right to remove. Dream Funnel™ reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to remove, suspend, edit, hide, or permanently delete any cause page, recipient profile, story, image, or comment that we determine — in our reasonable judgment — does any of the following: (a) contains offensive, hateful, discriminatory, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit language or imagery; (b) does not meet Dream Funnel's standards for ethical use; (c) is deceptive, fraudulent, plagiarized, or misrepresents the recipient's identity or need; (d) violates these Terms, applicable law, or the policies of our payment processors; or (e) damages the trust of the Dream Funnel community. Removal may occur without prior notice. We may, but are not obligated to, provide a reason. Where donations have already been received on a removed page, we will make reasonable efforts to refund donors and cooperate with law enforcement if required. You waive any claim against Dream Funnel™ arising from such removal.

13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) shall survive.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana, USA, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montana, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at https://dreamfunnel.net/terms-of-service with a new Effective Date.
