One QR code
between the pew and the need.
A family in the congregation loses a home to fire. A shelter needs winter blankets. The youth group's van breaks down. Dream Funnel™ turns urgent needs into a printable QR code your congregation can scan and give to in seconds — with just a 10¢ flat fee, not a percentage.
Real ways churches use us
- Benevolence fund. Print a QR for the church board's benevolence fund. Members scan and add to it any time — no waiting for the next passing of the plate.
- Family in crisis. A family in your congregation faces a sudden hardship? Set up a cause for them in 90 seconds. Share it in the bulletin, the group text, and Sunday announcements.
- Missions trip. Every mission-team member gets a personal QR code that credits their donations individually — no more manual bookkeeping.
- Youth group van, roof repair, VBS supplies. Any capital or program need — set a goal, watch the progress bar fill.
- Community outreach. Free-lunch program, warming shelter, food pantry — external donors (non-members) can find and support your outreach through the public directory.
How the money moves
10¢ per donation to Dream Funnel. That's it. No percentage, no monthly fee, no minimum.
Stripe processing is standard ~2.9% + 30¢ per card charge, coming out of the donation total (same as every online giving platform).
Payouts land in your church's or ministry's bank account within days — usually 2 business days after the donation.
On a $100 gift: donor pays $100 → Stripe takes ~$3.20 → Dream Funnel takes $0.10 → your church receives $96.70. Compare to typical church-giving platforms that charge 3-5% plus Stripe fees on top.
Tax receipts & 501(c)(3) status
If your church has a 501(c)(3) EIN (most do — even without formal IRS filing, churches are automatically tax-exempt), donations through Dream Funnel are tax-deductible for donors. During setup, choose Non-profit as your business type and enter your EIN. Donors get an automatic email receipt with your organization's name for their tax records.
For individual family-in-crisis causes, funds are personal gifts and are not tax-deductible for donors. That's not a Dream Funnel rule — that's federal tax law.
Privacy & anonymity for givers
Some members want to give anonymously, some are happy to be seen. Every donor chooses at checkout — anonymous names never appear in public lists, and even non-anonymous ones only show first names on the sponsor wall (opt-in). Nothing exposes contact info, home address, or amount to the congregation without the donor's explicit consent.
Even if you're just testing — create a cause, print the QR, and show your board next Sunday. If it doesn't fit, close it in 30 seconds. No contract, no commitment.
