What Stripe accepts as a payout destination
A prepaid debit card is the fastest path
Every prepaid debit card comes with a real routing number and account number. Stripe treats them exactly like a checking account. No credit check. No minimum balance. No monthly fee on most.
Popular options that work today:

- Chime — free spending account + debit card, no fees
- Netspend, Green Dot — buy at Walmart, CVS, 7-Eleven for $1–$3
- Walmart MoneyCard — activate in-store, works immediately
What doesn't work (yet)
PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay are not payout destinations on Stripe Connect Express in 2026. If you only have one of those today, get a Cash App Card (free) as a bridge — sign up in the app, order the card, and start receiving donations in the meantime with just the virtual card number.
Signing up when you don't have a bank
- Create your account at dreamfunnel.net/sign-up.
- Head to Payout setup and click "Set up Stripe payouts."
- When the choice appears, pick "I have a debit card or prepaid card" — or, if you don't have one yet, pick "I don't have either yet" for a step-by-step guide including a store locator for your ZIP code.
- On Stripe's screen, look for the small "Use a debit card" link and switch to the card entry form. Type your card number, expiration, and CVC.
- Complete identity verification (SSN or ITIN, DOB, name). No home ownership required.
- You're done — first donation arrives within days.
Two things to watch out for
Do NOT click "Continue with Link" on Stripe's screen.
Stripe Link auto-fills information from other people's saved sessions. Always click "Use a different email" and enter the email you used for Dream Funnel.
Never give anyone your card's PIN or CVC.
Dream Funnel will never ask for your card details — Stripe collects them directly and encrypts them. If someone claiming to be from Dream Funnel asks for your card info, it's a scam.
If you already have a prepaid card in your hand, this whole process takes about 10 minutes. If you need a card first, plan for ~2 weeks including shipping. Either way, we walk you through every step.
