Classroom donation drives
without giving 8% to the platform.
Pencils, field trips, art supplies, a new set of library books — Dream Funnel™ lets a teacher, a PTA, or a whole school run a mini donation drive with a printable QR code, no monthly fee, and just 10¢ per donation. More money reaches your classroom.
Why teachers and PTAs use us
- Flat 10¢ per donation. No 3-8% platform fee. On a $500 classroom drive that saves ~$40 that stays with the kids.
- One QR code, print it anywhere. Tape it on the classroom door, the school newsletter, the field-trip permission slip. Every scan opens your donation page.
- Money lands in your bank fast. Donations route straight through Stripe to your (or your PTA's) chosen payout account within days — no waiting for the platform to cut you a monthly check.
- No monthly fee. No setup fee. Sign up in 90 seconds, close the drive when you're done, walk away with what you raised minus $0.10 per gift.
- Donors see exactly where every cent goes. Live progress bar. Real donor names (or anonymous if they prefer). Everyone can see the pencil budget filling up.
What teachers have raised for
Math teacher raises $600 in a week — parents scan the QR on the syllabus.
PTA raises the $1,200 bus + admission fee. Every family contributes what they can, no minimum.
Librarian posts the QR at parent-teacher conferences. $2,300 in one evening.
Art teacher runs it annually — donors get 'sponsored by' credit on a plaque in the classroom.
How to set it up (90 seconds)
- Sign up at dreamfunnel.net/sign-up with your school email.
- Choose Non-profit as your business type if you have a 501(c)(3) or PTA EIN — or Individual if you're a teacher personally raising funds.
- Connect a bank account (PTA account, school activity fund, or your personal — your call).
- Create your first cause: name it, add a photo, write 2–3 sentences about what you need and why. Set a goal amount.
- Download the printable QR poster and tape it up.
Are donations tax-deductible?
If your PTA / booster / 501(c)(3) is the recipient, donations may be tax-deductible for donors — Dream Funnel provides receipts they can hand to their accountant. If a teacher personally is the recipient, donations are considered personal gifts and are generally not deductible for the donor (but you don't owe income tax on them either, up to the annual gift-tax exclusion). When in doubt, chat with your school's business office.
The next kid could be reading the book you just funded. Set it up in about a minute and a half.
